At present, in the context of the accelerated development of a new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution, as the product of the deep integration of manufacturing industry and the Internet, the industrial Internet has become an important support for the digital transformation of manufacturing industry. Cai Shenglong stated that the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry is the trend, and the current "epidemic" has once again pushed it to the forefront. Therefore, comprehensive asset management is crucial for enterprises, and the stable operation and efficient collaboration of equipment will directly determine the level of production efficiency.
Cai Shenglong proposed a five level maturity model for SIE asset management on the spot, namely, passive maintenance, planned maintenance, condition based maintenance, predictive maintenance, and standardized maintenance. Starting from the business architecture and technical architecture of asset management digitalization, he described how asset management achieves digital management processes such as online monitoring of equipment, automatic decision-making of maintenance strategies, and model driven maintenance business.
The digital idea of asset management of SIE is to build a middle platform of equipment data, integrate the real-time data of industrial Internet into the traditional equipment management business, take data as the center, realize the closed-loop of planning, implementation, evaluation and optimization of asset maintenance, and continue to deposit maintenance strategies. Therefore, the digital solution of SIE Information is to achieve human-computer cooperation and improve the efficiency of management, including the sustainability of operation, the visualization of asset analysis and the enforceability of tasks. Support through mobility, view work records at any time, and ensure its execution through personnel monitoring. Through online monitoring, personnel can generate work order information based on warnings and automatic diagnosis triggers, and provide corrective measures. It is also possible to find a better path through overall evaluation and optimization.
Next, Cai Shenglong will use the case of Tianlu Industrial to illustrate the practical significance of asset management in reducing costs and increasing efficiency for enterprises. Inner Mongolia Tianlu Industry is a manufacturer of PVC flooring, with products leading the country in multi-layer roll flooring. Floor production is a typical process manufacturing, from mixing to finished product health preservation. The temperature, oil pressure, and motor operation of each key process are the key factors affecting product production efficiency and quality.
In this project, the client proposed project requirements and goals including standardizing asset management processes, clarifying equipment ledgers, transparent maintenance and repair processes, visualizing real-time status of key processes/equipment, early warning, reducing unplanned equipment downtime, and accumulating maintenance and repair knowledge. Through project implementation, SIE team realized online monitoring for Tianlu Industry, including 245 temperature monitoring, 237 motor current monitoring and 52 oil pressure monitoring, to ensure the healthy operation of key process equipment, and also made data acquisition of two meters, which is used to accurately calculate the cost of a single product. Implemented and deployed six major modules including asset management, scheduled maintenance, fault management, work order management, and digital meters, ultimately achieving an 80% reduction in unplanned downtime, a 28% increase in average equipment utilization, and a 5% reduction in unit product costs.
