SIE was again recognized as "Excellent Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center" by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province
Recently, the Notice of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province on the Determination of the Engineering Technology Research Center of Guangdong Province in 2020 was officially released. The "SIE Internet Intelligent Manufacturing (SIE) Engineering Technology Research Center" of SIE Information Construction was recognized as the provincial engineering technology research center in 2020 by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. This evaluation was the dynamic evaluation of 5354 provincial engineering technology research centers constructed from 1991 to 2018 by the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. SIE Information was again rated as the "excellent provincial engineering technology research center".
The Guangdong Engineering Research Center is recognized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, mainly focusing on accelerating the establishment of a technology innovation system with enterprises as the main body, market orientation, and the combination of industry, academia, and research in Guangdong Province. In accordance with the requirements of the innovation driven development strategy that emphasizes both quality and efficiency, and synchronizes research and application, it relies on a number of provincial-level engineering centers established by innovative enterprises with scientific and technological strength in strategic emerging industries and advantageous characteristic industries within the province, especially industrial enterprises, universities, and research institutes with a main business income of more than 500 million yuan.
