Activity Report | CXO, a key enterprise of SIE, entered the fifth phase of Huawei (Huizhou Station) successfully, marking a new chapter of high-quality development
SIE, together with Huawei Industrial Software Cloud Innovation Center, jointly held a series of activities of "SIE's key enterprise CXO entering Huawei and private meeting for high-quality development of industrial software", aiming to actively implement the provincial and municipal strategic deployment for the development of industrial software and basic software industry, and help Huizhou become an important city leading the development of industrial software.
On June 16th, the fifth private event of Huizhou Station was successfully held. At the event site, Yi Liang, a senior technical architect of SIE, and Qiu Chongyang, an architect of SIE's digital integrated supply chain solutions, respectively delivered wonderful speeches, in-depth discussing the latest trends and solutions of industrial digital transformation.
Yi Liang first shared his keynote speech on "Huawei Cloud Industrial Digital Model Driver Engine iDME". He emphasized that Huawei Cloud Industry Digital Model Driver Engine (iDME) is a fundamental platform developed by Huawei based on its own digital transformation and excellent data management practices. This engine is based on underlying technologies such as meta models and cloud geometry, dedicated to building industrial applications and digital mainline solutions, accelerating industrial digital transformation. Yi Liang elaborated on the powerful features of iDME in data modeling, digital mainline, and industrial data model template library, and pointed out that it can greatly improve the efficiency of industrial data modeling, reduce the cost and difficulty of industrial software development. He demonstrated the significant achievements of iDME in improving development efficiency through the Huawei PBI system reconstruction case, reducing development time from 2185 person days to 240 person days and increasing efficiency by as much as 9 times. This is not just a numerical victory, but also a profound innovation in the research and development model.
Subsequently, Qiu Chongyang delivered a keynote speech on "Huawei Cloud&SIE Digital Integrated Supply Chain Joint Solution". He emphasized that the digital integrated supply chain solution jointly launched by Huawei Cloud and SIE has built a comprehensive digital integrated supply chain product based on a unified data standard, which is designed to meet the needs of global supply chain management. With the support of Huawei Cloud Intelligence Platform, this solution revolves around three main lines: integrated supply, ecological collaboration, and digital operations, promoting the digital transformation of enterprises and achieving perfect collaboration in the supply chain. Qiu Chongyang provided a detailed introduction to the application of the solution in four major scenarios: digital fulfillment of orders, integrated collaborative planning, supply chain ecological collaboration, and digital operation of the supply chain, emphasizing its ability to quickly expand into new industries and customize functions.
This private sharing event not only provided attendees with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the latest trends and solutions in industrial digital transformation, but also built a bridge for communication and cooperation between enterprises.
