Recently, the 12th Round Table Conference of the Guangdong Manufacturing Digital Transformation 50 People's Conference, jointly organized by the Meizhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Guangdong Manufacturing Digital Transformation 50 People's Conference, and the Guangdong Manufacturing Digital Transformation Promotion Center, was successfully held in Meizhou. The conference, with the theme of "Based on the PCB industry, jointly researching the digital new paradigm of the electronic information industry", gathered more than 200 representatives from various fields such as government, industry, academia, and research. Wang Xin, Director of SIE Industry Solutions, was invited to attend the meeting. He collided with colleagues in the industry on topics such as "AI+industry", and shared and exchanged topics around the innovative application path of AI technology in the PCB industry.



Wang Xin pointed out that under the dual background of rising geopolitical risks and global economic pressure, the PCB industry is facing a temporary challenge of insufficient innovation momentum. But the Prismark research report reveals an important driving force for industry growth: with the popularization of Al technology and the competition for new energy vehicles, the demand for PCB related to Al servers and automotive electronics has significantly increased. The global PCB market is expected to steadily expand at a compound annual growth rate of 5.4% from 2023 to 2028, with the market size expected to climb from $81.7 billion in 2024 to $94 billion in 2027.


It is worth noting that China's PCB industry has shown a significant trend of surpassing global growth rates. The growth rate of output value of high-end sub sectors represented by BGA carrier boards and server high multi layer boards is particularly striking, indicating that the proportion of Chinese Mainland in the global PCB output value will continue to rise. Although the current industry is in a period of cyclical fluctuations and structural changes, technological innovation and market demand are jointly drawing the path for industry breakthroughs. The global PCB market is expected to usher in a strategic opportunity period of demand upgrading and value reconstruction.

SIE Information realized the detailed decomposition of each application scenario in the PCB industry based on the "PCB industry big model" of Shanmou GPT, and completed the scene breakthrough from point to surface through the real scene of customers in the signed landing projects and the massive training and optimization of customer data.
